    Jewel Filters

    So the two blue sponges, green sponge and carbon sponge only need to be changed once every 6ish months? I'm guessing that heavy planting helps by taking up ammonia and other unwanted stuff. Note-I'm a biotope guy, so plants wern't usually on the list. =P Thanks

    Re: What woods are safe to use in your aquarium? I'd be interested in this aswell because everywhere I go theres lovly bits of wood that would be perfect, but I don't want to risk it. :( Also student budget and parents wont let me buy Sumatra/manzinata! :jawdrop
