Hi all...I've read and read and read through countless threads and google results about filters and lily pipes and getting the correct size tubing, size glass and flow for my little tank ( I'll get exact measurements tomorrow afternoon) it's roughly 30cm l x 20 cm w x 15 cm h so it's small lol...

hey all, i got myself 10 cherry red shrimp a few months back and since then they have bred and produced babys after babys and i now have around the 40ish mark plus another mother shrimp :roll: what do i do with all the extra shrimp? i dont have another tank set up at the min so i cant re home...

hi guys, OK, so this isn't your typical aquarium type tank but i thought id share with you that you can still have a aquascape in a thin tank as well as a wide tank. since the last update i have sorted out the blyxa, cleaned glass, pipes etc put a stocking over the inlet as i have had 12 new...

i like the clean tropical island look with the sand, i had a layer of black sand on top of underworld aqua grit but every time i planted something it would all mix up :roll: keep up the great work :thumbup:

hi mate i was looking for something more like a all in one type. on my other tank i used some underworld aqua grit i think it was called but i capped it with uni black gravel/sand and it got mixed up with all the planting etc so thought i would try a different rout. :(

hey, i undid it a little and waited for a few secs then it just went off lol. there was a round thick washer type thing that also got blew out and that was mashed up a bit?? it wasnt threaded and by the explosion i would say it was very very full lol

well a little information for you all, co2 IS dangerous!! i just unscrewed the regulator a little and it did indeed hiss then all of a sudden BOOOOOMMMM!!!!! hey sorry chump i forgot to say about the lights. i have a 15w bulb (arcadia freshwater lamp) on from 12.00 till 9.00. i did have a 8w arcadia original lamp on at the same time but that was causing to much algae in a 10l. what else could i do then for the co2? how many times can i do a water...

yes thats the one, i can turn a knob on the top which lets co2 out or stops it the thing is if i turn it off the pressure rises so i thought leaving it open a little will relieve some pressure. any idea why its done this?

hi how do i close it down? wouldn't it be best if i left it open slightly to not put too much pressure on it? this is the second bottle i have ever put on and i think it might be my last. should i up my easy carbo now then if my co2 is down for a while? my only inverts are 10 cherry shrimp. :(
