Someone told me that the electronic ballasts give 40% less power than the magnetic ones resulting in less light intensity that the tubes give.Is this true ?

I think that those sponges used for washing kitchen dished will "glog" up really fast with debries.And one more thing is that I thing these sponges are treated with some kind of chemicals that will not be good for the water and fish

I will do that with the co2 what you said.When new leaves appear at the Echinodorus and start to grow they are red/orange till they get big and after that the orange / red color dissapears and they become green like the rest of them.But untill they grow thay are red/yellow/orange like.

I think Manado CAN be washed,I don't think there is a problem in that.
