HI George here is a question for you. I have 2 TMC 1000ND and 1 TMC 1000HD Ultra hanging 13inches above a 20inch deep tank. These are on for 5 hours and the 1000HD Ultra is only running at 50%, My dwarf hairgrass, Lilaeopsis brasiliensis, java fern and java moss all look a mess. The green is...

    Discus

If I knew that the filters are ok and cycled well, then I would not have issues dong a 90% water change for this discus only tank. But the way the fish / filters are behaving at the moment I am at a bit of a loss....

    Discus

I am using tap water however since I live near a RO plant (I live in Malta and most our tap water is produced from the sea) the water tends to have a ph of 7 give or take on the day. I now have the G3, the Biobox 2 and a sponge filter going full swing.

so doing a 50% water change at this stage would be beneficial? Also would the fish benefit from the triex cartridge?

    HELP!

Well to be perfectly honest I can follow the bubbles to the half way line of the tank and yes, a corner tank is more than tricky to get the flow right in. Nevertheless I would think that the plants in the mist of the co2 should at least be doing well, but they aren't either.
