Hi, A couple of months ago i dry started a 60cm scape which grew very well but shortly after flooding i had a big BGA outbreak which resulted in a 4 day blackout. Using The Dry Start Method

I did mine not so long ago. I have some ups and downs but it was really easy to do and i`ll definitely be doing it again. Aqua One Aquis Advance 1050 - Leak

Second hand sold as new (packaging was sealed when i received it) but i did pay a lot less than new so i can`t complain. I have been offered an Eheim Pro 3 so i`m wondering about replacing it.

Aqua One Aquis Advance 1050 - Leak

@ Tom - Ok mate, wasn`t sure if anything like that would contain any chemicals that could affect fish / water etc :) I`ll bung some on tonight and see how it goes, i think i`ll order some o rings anyhow just for spare purposes. @ chrisfraser05 - No worries :) Cheers,

Aqua One Aquis Advance 1050 - Leak

Ignore that :) Found one: http://www.cdaquatics.co.uk/catalog/aqu ... -2638.html I`ll take a look at the current o ring around the head, give it a little stretch and check for fatigue. If their isn`t any can i use any form of lube to seal it better? Cheers,

Hi, Yeah i know it`s confusing, as it`s situated in the centre of the room and is viewable from all sides, the front is actually where you can see the spray bar which is acting as the back and pointing what would be the back of the tank but is the front... I have foreground plants on both sides...

I have attached a pic so you can see the layout. I`m...

Hi Clive, I had an external eheim 2224, an internal fluval 4 and an internal eheim powerhead (600) up until last month. I have changed it to a single Aquis 1050 but not noticed much of a change since, well no dip in growth etc since moving across. Should i put the powerhead back in? I was...

Hi, I have just grabbed a bargain, a Luminaire twin 54w T5 4ft for £13. Currently i have a hood with twin38w t8`s and i`m concerned that when i switch to the T5`s i`m going to have an algae outbreak. For the past 4 months going by CEG`s advice i have had zero algae and growth has been good...

My pair of betta`s here are from The water gardens in hinton parva (swindon). Great selection and they take very good care of their livestock :)
