    Sumps, and Overflows

As part of redecorating the lounge (more like rebuild) I've had the suspended wooden floor enforced, and I'm now able to have my 'dream' tank, 120x60x60cm. Which will sit in an alcove. Plan so far is to run this with a sump, the tank itself will be rimless and have an optiwhite front panel. The...

    Resolved! Images.

Not sure if there's anything that can be done, but if images are used in a conversation, and then in a thread, then they don't appear visible in the thread. A good example can be seen here https://www.ukaps.org/forum/threads/how-to-use-a-plc-to-control-your-fish-tank.42993/page-3

TMC Aquaray Mini 400 Tile Whine

All, I've got a couple of second hand TMC Aquaray 400 tiles, one of which has a whine when being dimmed. TMC will remove a component for £10. Does anyone know what they remove ? I'm sure if I knew what got removed I could do it myself saving £10 and the time to send and return. Cheers Stuart

    Water Pressure Sensor

Hi Folks, This is almost off-topic, but as I use tap water to fill my aquarium it's probably ok here. Is anyone aware of a low cost water pressure sensor that can be used on a house water main ? I'd like to read this using an arduino / raspberryPi so 0-5v or 0-20mA output.

    To drill, or not.

I'd be interested to hear peoples opinion on drilling or no drilling the base of tanks. I'm thinking about doing similar to the fluval tanks with bottom drilled holes for the filter pipe, ideally one in each corner (for 2 filters). I'm sure there is a list of pro's and con's so feel free to...

    To Drill, or not ?

Having visited several local aquatic retailers. I've begun to wonder if a DIY version of the fluval vicenza is possible, using clear acrylic tubes for the filter inlets and outlets into the tank.
