Actually that is my photo of our TMC tiles when we first set them up in 2011. I used standard suspension cable with the anchor, only I threaded it to another style anchor nut that fit into the heat sink. Made things very easy. :)

The sword plant is absolutely stunning, deep beat red. Your skill with the camera is something I hope to learn through osmosis via my computer screen.

Re: 120 x 55 x 55 @ 6 weeks. Why you should syphon! You are a very brave man to siphon such a great carpet. Most folks would suck it right off the substrate. How do you manage to do this without pulling HC out at the same time?

That valve posted above has plastic valve seats and because of this the BPS will fly all over the place with ambient room temperature. Your better off spending a little extra coin on something nicer. You dont need anything ridiculous like a metering valve with micrometer, but something made...

I just received our cargo of TMC and installed one over a 30C. Luckily I have this light suspended because it packs a massive punch. Sorry for the poor quality iPhone photo.

From my research they are compatible with TMC controllers. There is a link to PFK in the first post that has a decent write up.

Its no problem, you can either dose co2 slowly 24/7, or you can also have an air pump come on at night for night time aeration for fish and plants.

I hope you get to visit in a month or 2 to take progression photos. :)

Thats about the same here. Stems usually number for 40-100 easy. The Hairgrass is enough to plant a 60cm tank very well from the start.

I think the portions are rather nice, however the price is not as attractive compared to standard aqua plants.

We are just now seeing them in the US. They are packed in plastic sealed bags with vitro media. Pretty cool, but not enough assortment, that I have seen. Shelf life is amazing, and no bugs/algae/snails or tons of cost involved for LFS

Its fine, you can remove and rinse in fresh water afterwords if you like too. You can even use a mix of 50/50 bleach and water, followed with a thorough rinse in your favorite dechlorinator.

If its loose and you rode for a while like this more than likely your bearing is shot,cups and spindle as well. :( Dure Ace makes any road bike ride like a dream!

If your bottom bracket knocks its likely you have either one of 2 things. 1. You have a loos pack bearing system and your bearings/bearing has a flat spot and your spindle is riding that rough spot. Cant fix this, just yank it and put a new one. 2. If you have a sealed BB then its either a...
