I was assuming the wrong plants, easerthegeezer, Sorry. The ones nearest to the filter are Alternanthera Reineckii. They are doing really well with liquid carbon only with no decay but has had little growth compared to others, Should develop well over time.

Have not used excel before but have used Aqua Essentials Liquid Carbon and it is noticably weaker than Easy Life EasyCarbo. I saw a dramatic difference in plant growth when I started to use EasyCarbo.

Definitely getting it Life on blu-ray as Planet Earth was mind blowing to watch as my first blu-ray purchase, watched it about 5 times now. Would also recommend getting blu-ray over dvd as detail in the images makes watching it soo much more worth it. (excluding the need to buy a blu-ray player)

I think I'll just finish my degree in Biochemistry first.

I have a black background on the back and on one side. It seems to have little effect. The fish spend most of their time at the back of the tank but a couple wander to the front. The loaches never come out like they used to before.

I haven't seen any nerite snails wandering about just ramshorn snails. Most of the ones i have seen are small newly hatched ramshorns ( the shell is still quite soft and colours have not fully pigmented). Not seeing a huge increase at the moment. Just the same ones wandering about.

My tank is reflective on the inside of the tank and produces a mirror of the tank. This fools all the fish so they wander along the edges of the tank. Is there any way of reducing the reflectiveness of the inside of the tank? Is it reflective to reduce the stress of the fish? Cheers.

I have found the Aqua Essentials Liquid Carbon to have a slower growth rate than the EasyCarbo, which I find is the best. I think it has been more diluted than EasyCarbo sloution of glutaraldehyde. Maybe its just me.

Hey, Tried making a 3D image of my tank but have found it difficult for Microsoft's software to match up and common features between each photo but there are some nice images to look at.

I've made a few rearrangements as I have found the moss is starting to ground itself into the bogwood and gave the loaches and plecs more dark areas to hide in. Still not fully happy. But it'll do until after I've done my resits. Here's some photos:
