I’ve just covered the backs of my aquascaper 900 and 600 with this frosted film. It has a backing that needed peeing off, but it wasn’t adhesive, just super shiny. Seems well stuck with just a bit of water

Probably this, combined with your careful choice of plants and I bet the layout helps maintain really good flow right round the tank. It's a great scape and I'll be sad to see it go. You could ease the suffering by telling us that you've placed the order for your 1200.... :woot:

Hi and welcome I don’t think it’s recommended to keep male betta with guppys as they look so similar, that the betta is likely to mistake it for a rival and attack it. It’s a good excuse to set up a 2nd betta tank though... ;)

Try to remove as much of that little ‘gift’ on your manzanita as you can before you add it to your tank. As siege said it goes brown and falls off. I didn’t remove it from mine, and it turned really sludgy and is a bit of a pita to get out without it breaking up and getting everywhere.

If you can transfer the filter media from your old tank to your new filter, you won’t need to wait and could transfer your fish immediately. But if you want time to rescape and adjust things without fish, they’ll be fine in a bucket or plastic storage box with your filter and heater attached.

I had this when I had a slight leak in the bubble counter. Check all the joints with washing up liquid. Hopefully that will solve it.

Nothing at all wrong with the aquagro. Checked again and there was a huge leak in the bubble counter joint. Have removed bubble counter altogether and it is working fine. It is noisy though. To answer your original question, there is a mist, but hopefully all will be ok with the sera.

Hi Katfish. Adding co2 will lower ph. The drop checker measures the ph. If your aim is to get your drop checker to change from blue to lime green you need to lower your ph by adding co2. Don't worry, I don't think you will cause any great ph 'crash'. If you make drastic changes you could risk...

The guys at MA were saying that they were really worried when the ottos came in as they were really skinny, but they have been feeding them well and are pleased that they didn't lose 1. There is another MA on the A30 at Ascot. It is bigger than the one at weybridge.

After moving some wood to another tank, it developed this coating all over. It was a bit too much for the shrimp to handle so in the end I just had to remove the wood and wipe it all off. It is a bit of a pain, but really easy to get rid of and had never returned.
