Sorry to see you are still having a rough time with this tank. I strongly believe that before you do anything else, get some floating plants in, see how they perform. As others have said, though I know you have struggled with it, next get in tonnes of cheap fast growing stems. Hygrophila...

Don't fret about testing. The test kits for the stuff we are dosing are next to useless in terms of accuracy. One of the main principles of EI is that in 99% of cases we massively overdose what plants could possibly need. Followed by a large weekly water change to reset the water column (the...

Complete Aquarium DIY CO2 System for tank up to 500L

I think attempting to run a 500litre tank on yeast would be very ill advised. This kit would be built for much lower pressures I would imagine, hooking up a 1000psi fire extinguisher is asking for trouble.
  77. aaron.c

    Diy CO2 yeast question

The best thing to do is to run 2 bottles off a t connector. Then you alternate the bottle refills. So 1 week you do one bottle, the next week you change the other bottle - this keeps the supply more consistent and stable. P.s a week is only for illustration purposes... You might need to change...
