I've done mine several times seemingly without issue. I'm guessing there will be a glass sealed tube within to allow heat transfer but keep the heating elements dry.

Hi Roly, i dont think youll need a heater at those temps. Maybe only buy one if your house gets significantly cooler over winter to set as a back up. I dont use a heater in my crshrimp nano, temp around 21-22 celcius. Cheerio, Ady.

I second that. 4ft (especially in 6mm glass) should have full length braces whith the cross braces then siliconed to them separately. Sounds like a botch job from an unscrupulous seller and its just not worth the risk. I'd say you've already had some good fortune in that it didn't crack and...

In all honesty, the all in one filter/light unit and 7w led put me off the Eheim nano set ups. Having no light when doing filter maintenance seems really stupid to me and i was unsure about the viability of a 7w led light for growing much. Ady.

Hi, i have cover glasses and removed them to reduce cleaning and allow more light (no condensation drip etc to get through), however 3 days later i refitted them as i was topping up daily.... annoying! With the glass covers i dont need to top up at all during the 6 days between water changes...

Looks like the up atomiser is a no go as i only run 1.5 bar pressure on my c02 and ive read they need 2 bar for effective use, so any other suggestions? Its an Aqua Medic Regular Regulator. Thanks, Ady.
