Tesco sell de-ionised water which does the same thing. Whats the 'pink tinge' mantra then? Is this where theres enough of a dose that anything falling out of solution doesnt matter? That's always been my problem with iron supplements.

Looking at the instructions on the tropica website it appears that you only dose once per week and that this is sufficient. I jknow George is using it amongst others and haveing great sucess with it but i'm curious. Are they feeding only the stated amount or a modified amount? I'm concidering...

I wouldn't say I have high light, not in comparison to some on here. I run 4 t8's over 180 litres. I was always taught that you need weekly water changes with EI. But then your saying if I did dose EI on a low light tank then I'm less likely to get algae? Surely nutrients have to come into it...

Are there different strength ferts? For example, should all potassium sulphate be of the same concentration? I'm looking at buying from garden direct due to how much you get for your money but want to be sure its as good quality as QE

Where do you all get your chemicles for EI? I know AE do them all but I've heard garden direct do them to for a fraction of the price. Which ferts do you buy from where?
