Ed,
What did you use to line the stream? I'm very interested in doing something similar as I have an area of garden that is in constant shade so it might be nice to create a waterfall there and have it running to the pond.
Unfortunatly it still wont fit. I have a very narrow rurning space at the bottom of the entry which causes the problem. I'm so close now i may as well finish by hand. I'll get the lads round and offer free beer for their sweat.
Fancy coming over to Leicester to help me out with mine Ed?!
Having to dig the whole thing by hand... and been diggin for 2 years on and off and still havent hit a meter's depth!
How do you do IE in a pond? I cant see it feasable unless you change water in there. And the amount of ferts you would get through would be immense!
Incidentally the hay trick does work. Not any old hay but barley hay. Its good for clearing greenwater but wouldnt eally touch hair algae. Used...
Thats going to be great with the decking over it.
I've just built my decking which is 4 metres squared and i'm just in the process of digging the pond now which will go right up to the decking. Thats going to be 3 x 2 metres and around 1 metre in depth.
