    Smallest & Least Visible Heater

The Hydor is like the only option when it comes to in-line heaters really, also you can at a push do maintenance on them yourself if you are a handy individual including gasket replacement etc. Other than inlines i use eheim jagers the old faithful but even those don't last that long for me, my...

    Smallest & Least Visible Heater

Yes you can, run the diffuser after the heater unit in the outflow, hydors are good, knockof inlines suck and aren't worth the saving you get, hydor all the way.

    By hook or by crook

I don't think i have seen anything like this, generally spraybars need suckers, i would love to see someone manufacture the idea you have, it would look super aesthetic, maybe E-mail some of the smaller glass manufacturers (Mig-A is one that comes to mind) or chihiros and enquire about the idea?

    Heater Failed ?

I've had a few heaters stick on over the years, a couple of visitherms, and an eheim jager, but i always caught it in time luckily, never had a in-line heater stick on, just had a hydor leak once due to old O-rings.

    Heater Failed ?

I'm using hydor in-line knockoffs with LED temperature panels on the heater, they work well but need calibrating with a good thermometer, they also come with 3 sets of fittings for different diameter tubing.

Nightmare morning water all over the floor

You will probably struggle to find a sand with the quality of colour variations as La Plata, but any of the lighter tone pool filter sands should be a good 2nd best. I don't have any insurance against water damage, i don't even think i'm covered to have aquariums in my flat... :o

    Tropica system nano regulator

I honestly don't know if you can, someone else may be able to enlighten you, the problem with most of these disposable sets is the cylinders all differ slightly, and either have a non standard threading, or a proprietary standoff distance which prevents it being used with standardised parts...

    Fluval E Advanced Electronic Heater, 300 W

i bought some hydor inline knockoffs, the ones with the digital display, they are £30 each, they seem fine so far but it's still early days, and you have to calibrate them with a thermometer.

    Help me find silicone

Aquamate silicon, don't get any of the stuff from B&Q or Screwfix as they all have anti fungals or hygiene chemicals in them.

    Aquarium manufacturer

i totally see your point, it is effort vs reward, i would always recommend to buy on a credit card to cover yourself, but if the tank is worth anywhere upwards of 400 quid small claims is viable, if you keep letting companies get away with blahblahblahblah like this then they will keep on doing it to hobbyists.

    Aquarium manufacturer

I would have gone to small claims if they didn't give a replacement or full refund for sure.
