    I think there are, but I must admit I'm not sure what they are. Melting leaves and legginess is related to Co2 difficiencies? Yellowing of the leaves is another sign, but cant remember is it's potasium or nitrogeon... Clive will be able to tell you tho.

    With a tank of your size I would advice an inline diffuser. This was you'd get better diffusion and if combined with proper flow you'll get Co2 water all around your tank.

    Could it be due to the water pressure on the surface of the diffuser? How deep is your tank? The way I understand it the deeper the tank the harder it is to force the water down the pipe and out of the diffuser. Would a diffuser with a larger surface area help in that situation?

    I thought it was typical for pressurised C02 to drop the pH by 1? I've been told that this drop in pH caused by C02 isn't harmfull to the fish. So presumable you need to change the controllers pH to around 5 - 5.5. This will allow it to stay on to add the C02.

    I'd have to agree with the others. FE's get regular inspections but the don't get replaced that often. Surely you can ask at the company that you are getting them refilled at? As they are a fire safety company they will know the regulations regards to FEs.

    Ok tested the water again, that's gotta be at least 72hrs and the pH is still reading 6. I also tested the GH/KH, GH comes back as 40 mg/l and KH comes back as 30 mg/l. Opinions?
