If your aquariums are very close by, you could even get the P4 model (4 dosing channels) which would save you a bit of money. Otherwise yeah, you will need 4. In my opinion though, dosing pumps automate one of the more tedious parts of the hobby so it's worth it to me.
The D-D P1 Doser is a good, simple option. It comes with an easy to setup and intuitive app for controlling and monitoring. You would need one unit per solution you're dosing.
There are cheaper options without apps but I just find them annoyingly complex. This one is pretty much plug and play...
Excuse my dirty pipes lol, but this is what I'm using. Just the inlet and the regular jet outlet. Not using the skimmer or flow reducer attachment on this scape. It hooks over the edge of the tank in the cut outs.
However, if you are planning to buy it I would recommend buying the set with all...
Oh that's strange, I've never seen holes like that before. Mine have cut outs in the back so you can hang it over the same as a rimless tank.
You could still use the Aquario pipes but you would need to cut it at the bend and attach a piece of clear hose at the joint so that you can dismantle...
I also have a Juwel Tank and I started with stainless steel but now use Aquario Neo Flow pipes. For me, it was the best option because it was transparent like glass but you can rotate the output like a stainless steel kit. It hangs over the edge a bit weird but you don't notice it from the front.
I've been thinking this same thing recently. I need quite a few.
I found a qanvee one on Amazon for £12.99. QANVEE Aquarium Fish Tank Hose Pipe 12-16mm 16-22mm Quick Release Connector Water Flow Control Valve Connector Adapter Aquarium Filter Connector (16/22mm)
When you mention the price are...
How often are you supposed to be doing this? I had an Eheim external filter for 11 years and never touched the silicone once. Never gave me any problems though. Do different brands give you different experiences?
Hey guys,
I was wondering why despite the popularity of 45cm aquariums you can't seem to find stands/cabinets for them?
If they do exist where are they? [emoji23]
A glorified Turkey baster...
Funny enough I was listening to Aquarium Co-op podcast today and they were saying that Fluval make some great products but their marketing is HORRIBLE. I have to agree!
Call a product what it is, make it easy to remember and lookup. Even with the companies that...
I use the APS Skim-2 on a lidded tank. I was actually surprised at how well it works and it's really easy to clean.
I didn't even remember it came with that tube, I must have never used it. Works well without anyway.
