Are they supposed to be this big?

It's got dropsy, personally imo when a fish obviously has it it is to late for treatment and it is bang on the head time.

    Discus in planted tank ?

To be honest IMO hardwater Discus are no where near as nice as the original soft water strain. All you need is an RO unit which can be bough for as little as £40 and you are good to go, Just use pure RO with them. Have a look at these guys RO units, great value and I have heard some very good...

    Kribensis young

The parents will look after them until they are about an inch or they want to breed again which ever comes first, they will take them around the tank on day trips to feed in different spots when one spot drys up. Great things and the first Cichlid I had breed and what started my love of them...

Puntius denisonii in open top tank

If you startle them ( all you have to do is look at them from across the room ) they are like those seed pods you get around lakes etc that explode on contact lol In my experience anyway, same as silver sharks only 1000000x worse lol

    Cardinal tetra getting really dark

Since buying them last Saturday they have become much darker but more intense in colour, I guess this means they like the tank and water conditions? The red is almost dry blood red and the blue very neon with their backs being almost blackish.
