    Shrimps 'n' snails

That is a nice scene, I didn't realise until now the difference in colour between the cherries and the CRS. Very nice CRS there too (I think they're C-Grades btw ;) ), my cherries are just as inquisitive; anything new that's added to the tank is always worth a look, there's got to be food on it...

    Squirrels

Well here's the original The reason for the tight crop is because I hadn't left myself much play at top and bottom. To enhance the symmetry I cropped either side at the apex of the fence loops. Unfortunately there were people just a couple of feet either side of him and the background...

    Butterflies

I really like the first one though something tells me it might have been even better if you'd still got the tip of the budliea in the picture. The contrast between the wings and the flower looks really good :)

    Squirrels

As much as i despise the little blighters they do make good subjects! A very symmetrical squirrel Full res available from the flickr photo page. With a friends kid Camera is a simple 4mp point and shoot (Konica KD-400Z probably the worlds most indestructible digital camera). I've done a...

Had some fun with a friends camera

No worries I don't mind! I love the one of the big wheels, I didn't use a tripod for any of mine (it probably shows). I quite often end up balancing the camera on something and using a delay timer though which is almost the same as using a tripod. I'd love to have a go at photographing...

Had some fun with a friends camera

Thanks guys, the writing is something I've been wanting to do for a long time but I've never had the kit. As soon as I realised I was holding a camera with the option of a 4 second exposure it was fait a complet! As for the fire, I've always been a pyromaniac, I love the way the colours on the...

Had some fun with a friends camera

We went camping for a weekend in Wales and I managed to get my hands on my friends camera, it's a Fujifilm FinePix S8000fd and allowed me to put into practice some of the theory I'd picked up about exposure times and the like. Gushy Gushy waterfalls Guitar by red torch light Fire Wish I'd...

    Isolated building

I have a tablet PC and they are the business for photo editing, you don't realise how clunky a mouse is until you can draw on your screen :) combine it with CS3 and I should be able to do anything, now I've just got to find the time to practice... oh and get a camera that works (currently mine...

    Isolated building

High Dynamic Range - Basically you take the same photo at several exposures and use the bits from each to create a final shot. Edit - in fact the last I heard Sony were creating a camera which did it automatically, they'd taken a CCD and instead of giving you all the Mpixels they'd quartered it...
