PFK subscribers - what do you get from the magazine?

I like PFK. There are some very interesting articles in there on planted tanks, reef tanks, as well as some good features on people's personal tanks. However I do find the majority of the content is aimed at beginners and those new to the aquarium scene, which I find frustrating, as maybe only 1...

    More Journals? discuss.....

My opinion is that, as many have stated, the better / most prominant aquascapers here are reluctant to post images incase they decide to enter it into a competition at some point, which I find quite disappointing as I love to read the journals and loom at the pictures from stage 1 to final...

BE CAREFUL WHEN BUYING FROM THESE SHOPS

Re: BECAREFUL WHEN BUYING FROM THESE SHOPS My experience (not neccessarily with the companies in question) is that emails often do go unanswered, I always prefer to ring the helpline as you can talk to a person and find out there and then whats happening

    Hose Clip question

If I want to put a hose clip (/jubilee clip) onto a piece of hose which has an external diameter of 22mm, would I be better off buying 16-22mm clips, or 22-30mm clips, as these are the only sizes they seem to come in :?

    Topic Titles

I'm very disappointed with the way TFF has gone lately. a very handy tool for this is a python its basically a long length of hose with a valve on the end which you attach to a tap, turn the valve one way and turn the tap on and it sucks water out of the tank along the hose and down the sink, then turn the valve the other way and it fills the tank...
