Was having a look on the Aquafleur website, and they do a version of java fern called Microsorium pteropus latifolia, just wondered if anyone had used this before or knew of it, and how does it differ from regular java fern?

When removing leaves which are succumbing to crypt melt, how is the best wya to do so? Just remove the leaf, or the whole stem?

I dont see why it wouldnt work. By increasing the light, all you do is increase the demands of the plant, so surely any plant should grow in low light (with sufficient ferts and CO2), albeit slower than under more intense lighting Thats my interpretation of the matter anyways

hmmm, i might just bite the bullet and go for glosso. will have ~2.2WPG and pressurised CO2 which should be sufficient is weekly trimming enough for glosso, or even more frequently?

is there such a thing? that doesnt require constant trimming/"mowing" ?

i believe greenline do buy in bulk, then keep them in this country in holding tanks, so they can ship stuff out as and when its required, hence the much lower delivery time

unfortunately it still has a 500g CO2 cyclinder, same as the kit you previously mentioned, which smiply wont last more than a couple of weeks on a tank that size
