Hi and welcome to the community.
Light choice is dependent on the goals you have for your tank.It matters if you plan on CO2 injection and what plant species you will be growing.
I am not using the above mentioned led lights but Im running my low tech 100l ( 40cm high) no CO2 tank with 2 T8...
Hi
I am using T8,T5 and PL-L 6500K bulbs on all my tanks for years. They grow plants as good as the branded ones and in some cases better.
Some branded ones have some purple, blue or similar hues to them sometimes that makes difference in viewing the fish but plants don't care tbh (and Im...
Hi
I don't know where you looked for T8 bulbs but £15 is insane.
I use T8 6500k bulbs from Lamp specs and it cost me £3 tops .BTW my bulbs are few years old too
Regards Konstantin
Hi
Once upon a time there was the thing that the T8 and T5 tubes should be changed every year to successfully grow plants.
My plants obviously didn't get that memo and keep growing with T5 and T8 bulbs about 7 -9 years old.
If Santa is reading this will love a Twinstar LED unit to fit my 80cm...
Hi
After all said.
It seems that the Chichiros RGB 90cm
Will be enough for your tank plus is dimmable so U will be able to reduce it furder if needed.
Why U cant get pressurised CO2?
U really need to consider going low tech if not able to get some pressurised CO2 as constant fluctuating CO2...
Hi
For any electronics or electro technician should be like walk in the park.U may have some Custom leds manufacturer too if U have a look arround
Regards Konsa
Hi
Thats good points U have made.
have U though about making yourself one.Or do U have someone with knowledge about that sort of things that can do it for U.It can be done on a low budget and U will have exactly what you want.
Have a look here.

Hi
Why are U so keen on updrading your lights.
The light U have now are more than enough to grow most plants U will ever have.
Your plants trouble are NOT because your lights are not strong enough. It is very likely that you have CO2 and flow and distribution
Issues for the ammount of light U...
Hi
Do U add any fertilisers and how often.
It seems that U have some sort of insufficient CO2 and strong light issues .
Some pics or video will defo help to get the full picture

Hi
As far as I remember the jewel bulbs were different sizes so not sure if a standart one will fit.Arcadia has a jewel size range.Used the plant pro and the original tropical t5s in the past and was very pleased with the colours

Hi Fred
Im not a chichiros led user but I have came across that the colour temperature is approx 8000k.
With the rgb U will get more natural looks.
Plants dont care about spectrum.Just go for whatever is pleasing for U.

Hi Fred
I will second what ceg 4048 and foxfish have advised U.
If so worried about light intensity get the 4 bulb unit and simply disconnect 2 of the bulbs if not able to run them separately in begging while plants grow in. U can wrap tin foil strips on the bulbs if U need to dim them at any...
Hi
If U opt for replacement anyway there is no need to spend that much on a bulb only because it says plant growth on it.Plants don't care. The temperature(kelvin rating) of the bulbs should be what U find most pleasing for enjoing your aquarium.
I use bulbs from less than 3 pounds with 6500k...
Hi
Can't comment about the java moss but everything else U can blast it with as much light as U have for good 12-16 hours per day.The propagators are different from the aquariums as plants have access to atmospheric CO2.Thats arround 400ppm so plenty.Just make sure the light source doesn't...
Hi
Depending on the plants U have.It is rarely a light issue with planted tanks.I find that flow ,availability and distribution of nutrients is more important.I keep few low tech tanks which are quite dim atm and my plants do good.Except thay one of them has a massive crypt melt after one year...
Hi
the warm white is below 3000k if not mistaken and not sure how plants will respond to it.
I suggested 6500k as is classed as day light (aka cool white) as this is what I have always used.
Regards Konsa
Hi
The arcadia eclipse bulb is just a branded (expensive 20odd pounds )pll bulb with 2g11 socket
U can get easy philips 6500k bulb for 3-4 quid and use that.Im using same bulbs on my tanks and have no problems.I think the 18w and the 24w are same lenght and will fit inside. If U not going with...
Hi
Already modified the tank and have a spray bar fitted under the lid.Broke a bit of the plastic near the top back of the devider to squeeze it trough and fitted a metal mesh arround the spraybar to prevent amano shrimps going arround it.The flow is on minimum and as the plants get hold and...
Hi
Thanks for the suggestion. Was thinking about it too but haven't used leds before so just making sure is not going to be too strong compared to the the pl-l lamp as tank is going to be a low tech .
Regards Konsa
Hello everyone
Have a betta duo which I am restarting soon and converting to a low tech setup.
Cant decide between Arcadia strech led 11w or Arcadia arc pod 11w.Will use Tropica plant grouth substrate and gravel.Plants will be most of the easy Tropica range plus few medium ones like P. Helferi...
