The pics do look stunning. Chris did mention about going on an expedition to Brazil next year to UKAPs members at Vivarium. Does sound like an amazing experience for whoever gets to go!

    Kilda update

I think you might struggle because if intellectual property rights etc. Normally scientific research is published in scientific journals, the first person to publish some data/evidence for a theory kinda claims it. Say if BigTom reported something of scientific significance on a blog and...

    Own your photos?

This was just posted by one of my friends who does photography http://stop43.org.uk/ Thought it might be of interest of any people with photographs on here. To me it seems far too often the government wants to rip us citizens off for everything we have and feed the pockets of themselves and...

The closest cherry shrimp shot yet.

TBH I have no idea mark, it is the same with crabs and lobsters I've noticed. The pupil follows you whichever way you look at the animal. I think it must just be black as all the light is being absorbed and is a light effect seen as you are dead on to the eye. The facets of the ommatidia around...

    pearling bubble.

Gadget show did a review of different printers, with a massive range in prices. There was a massive difference in quality and it didn't relate to the price, strangely. I can't remember exactly what brands were good, but you might be able to look it up?

    A different planted tank...

Looking good! Mudskippers need a rather large tank btw - they grow alot bigger than you may think. Plus they spend most of their time half in and half out of the water. Their belly skin isn't scaled and is rather fragile, so sand is the best substrate for them plus smooth slate as decoration...

    Betta Splendens

I know some people who have kept two or more males in huge planted tanks. I used to be a member of UKBetta forum. Then again you get some females who can't be kept in the same tanks together.
