    breaking up dragon stone, how?

I smashed up some mini landscape rock. I used hammer and chisel. Health and Safety USEFUL fact no. 1) wear some kind of eye protection  I managed to send a shard of rock flying which luckily just hit me in the face not my eye - but was pretty close.

    Tanks with branches you've collected

If you have a look for some of George Farmers biotopes, I'm pretty sure some of them were with branches from a lake (pretty sure it's the english biotope).

    Good examples of Petrified Wood?

Before 'bones of the earth' TGM had a fossilised wood based display tank. I have some pics but I don't have them uploaded. Perhaps if you can find the first TGM meet thread you might see some pics in there.

    Planted Marine Tanks.

I would say that alot of macroalgae will come as hitch hikers on live rock you buy. I used to use a forum Ultimate Reef and sometimes people will sell other macroalgaes. Some shops will sell them but it just depends on whatever they've managed to get in by accident. Make sure you don't have...

Possible Moss tank with Fish and Shrimp.

If you look at my journal I only bought 2 kg of aqua essentials rock and I managed to get 5 nice rocks out of it (after smashing up a big one). In the pictures they look like two as I have bunched them together though. It is soooo easy to spend £50 in AE. Buy some crystal reds, plants or some...

    Hardscape Positioning

Looking good, just one criticism really, the end of the branches are obviously sawn off. Are you planning to put moss on the wood? I can't remember... If you aren't I would rough up the edges a bit, but that's just my own personal opinion. Good luck!

    120cm - Harlequins' Haven

I think your definately right here. With poorer aquascapes like a first time attempt, such as my own, its less a scape attempt so there is sooooo much criticism to give no-one wants to give the person a coronary by telling them everything wrong with it. On the other hand everyone has their own...

Well if everyone said your scapes were brilliant and perfect all the time you'd get a big leo ego now wouldn't you  :P :D Never been a fan of vallis walls but I have been won over a bit lol!

    Mini project - 8x6x6

Sometimes they are used to jar bettas from a young age. In one betta spawn you could have 200 fry all of which could potentially be males. Although many people use 2L coke bottles.

    Mountainscape

Loved the article and thought the scape is amazing. It definately decepts the eye into thinking the scape is much bigger than it really is. Well done that man!

    120cm - Harlequins' Haven

Did you find any problems with the aquaclay? I find it quite flighty and some pieces even permanently float. As I'm waiting for my filten to arrive a 1000 lph powerhead is on the tank and the top layer of the aquaclay seems to move! Plus the grain size was larger than expected and found my stems...
