I just cant bring myself to do it mate. For me, people that enter more than 1 tank, even under someone else's name, is against the rules. I'm not a rule breaker. maybe i should toughen up a bit?.... :lol: Even if i had more than 1 tank, I'd only enter the best one, and as yet, there's not...

recently, I may have been a bit 'downbeat' about scapes like this, but this particular scape' seems to make me go back on my view a little. This is incredible! The tree looks so damn real!

Andy mate, these were the 2nd and 3rd tanks i'd ever done. The one to the right was my first full on attempt at a planted tank....about 4 years ago. it was from this point, i got hooked big time. i'll search for some more images mate. :thumbup:

i love it, the side view holds my attention for longer. both front and side views work well. maybe, it could work almost as a corner tank?..... maybe there is room for more plants in the foreground of the front view, but all in all a nice set up :D peliea looks good

you can see that this tank has been a huge learning curve for you aaron. it's apparent to me that one huge thing youve learnt is the aesthetics of a tank, positioning of plants etc....and a few trimming techniques. all things that you can take with you in to the next scape. it just gets better...

the next MA scape (in the 90cm) maybe along those lines :wink: stemmy heaven!

nah, it's not my birthday literally. just from that tank to what i'm doing currently is a year. although i've been at it for 18 months or so now. the above tank was the turning point for me. it could be my birthday if you want it to be?.... :P lots a pressies?

i did show something similar of the same tank, but that was an age ago. i was sifting through images and stumbled across this :lol: i also found my first iwagumi layout which i did directly after this scape was over. :shock: shocking! it was about this time i really got the bug!

this was exactly 1 year ago to the day. this was what i ended up after discovering EI and co2. mark

it must be nice to have 2 birds on one arm! :lol: nice scape nico, truly! it's the red that makes the scape for me. I'm a tad envious that you can get quality stones so freely.

well, some may know this tank is dead. i lost roughly 60 fish all my shrimp. and in trying to put things right i wrecked the whole layout. time for a new scape. just great as were in the middle of a damn recession :twisted: so for people who may be interested here's a quick pictorial....

it seems to be a strange plant, i hear of some talented scapers on this site that struggle with it. it does seem strange, some can some cant. personally its grows like a weed in my set-ups.....thank goodness. scape looks great. a bit unsure about the black molly though.
