I put shrimp straight in after filling with ebi and all active shrimp substrates even with shadows. Low ph makes ammonia and nitrites not toxic if there are any. Would not do that with inert substrates though.

Blue tigers are one of my favourites also and quite easy I would say. This picture is hovewer a bit too electric, its coour is enhanced. You can see the soil and shrimp food is also very blue which is not natural.

They should be fine. What about the tracking number? If there was an attempt of delivery it would show it. Special rm delivery 1in 100 is not next day from my experience. I have never complained, you would not also once you see the form to fill in :shock:

+1 for panacur. Also you have to dose 2 times at 2 week intervals. as planaria eggs don't get killed and may hatch later bringing back the issue.

Yep, amazing shrimp and quite easy to breed. The price is high due to a reason that from deep blue parents you will get a variety and only few really deep blues again. They are normally more darker and to the blac side than this picture. I would say picture was taken with blue color adjustment...

But works wanders. Tested in 120l tank :) No algae has a chance. Then go stems and mosses so this army should not be left for long. I think amano uses them temporarily also especially to combat early diatoms.

Any active soil will do the job for you with crystals :thumbup: no need for RO. They are much hardier from the time you had them. I find even high grades quite easy to keep to be honest ;)

They do have different colours. Blue pearls, yellow cherry, orange, rili etc... were bred from cherry shrimp.

An update. So I suppose almost all SS red babies made it in almost neutral ph and TDS around 400. Female is berried again :clap: We are counting 20 babies which are 1 month old already and 1cm big. Grades range from A, S, SS and if we are lucky we have one which cold be flowerhead :thumbup...

All new shrimps been acclimatized succesfully. Seen at least five SS red babies in Akadama tank today. 1 week old already. Water parameters in the tank temp 21c, TDS 360, PH 7.3 Have 2 cycled tanks with colombo florabase. Have put 4 SSS CBS in one and 20 SS CRS in the other. All doing well so...

I remove the ones that look suspiciously white. Anyways there only 5-8 adults left in that tank.

I will take my chances. They are from the same breeder but could be from different local breeders actually. Fingers crossed.

Blue pearl is Neocaridina species and is easy to keep and breed as normal cherries. :wave:
