I tried to search them. I found only 5200K or 10000 and more from 150w range. I havent had any experience with halides before. Could anyone recommend any other cheaper alternative? I already have mentioned 8000K halides. Maybe i am just not used yet to the color they give. Was thinking maybe...

Isnt it 11w also? I have been searching for a cheap 18w version of these couple months ago and couldnt source it so ended up buying 11w exactly the same one for a 25l low tech tank. I do like it a lot, you shouldnt be dissapointed :thumbup:

Well i think you should wait more than one week to see the results i suppose. Try to reduce the whole lenght of photoperiod as well as recommended before. I dont think you need to reduce to 6 hours honestly if your tank is mature already. I have only theoretical knowledge which is not backed up...
