I'm happy with that. Please give me until Friday to see what comes in the post from Roland before letting any of it go. Thank you. Steve

Why is Fissidens Fontanus unavailable everywhere??

People on Ebay are asking for a Liver or a Kidney for this amount.

    Dying Moss

Some pictures would be handy. See my old journal A Shady Glen where I completely nuked all my moss with Flourish excel. If it as bad as it sounds I think you are going to have to remove all of it or as much as you can and start again with new moss after a few 50% water changes to remove any...

Fe, Mg or other deficiency? (with pictures)

At first glance I would say both, Fe and Mg and probably NPK depending on how much lighting you have and how long it is on for. The amount of growth looks very good, it is just the lightness in the colour of the greens. Cheers Steve

    Pruning new Heminathus carpet?

Sorry mate I have never been successful in growing a carpet of Hemianthus so I am dead jealous of you. So well done on getting that far, I bagsy first shout if you finish up with any spare that you want to sell. Happy to PM and pay. Good luck, someone on here will have the answer for you...

    Plant identification anyone?

Hi, I would grateful if some one can help me to identify the plants in this photo below. I know what the foreground plants are and the tall ones to the left. It is the short and tall stem plants from the centre to the right hand side I need identifying. Sorry I can't use arrows to point them...

    Plants with Deficiency of something

That second picture looks like your shrimp are munching all the leaves  You have got a lot of shrimp in there, may be you need to feed them some chopped spinach or other vegetable matter to stop the eating your leaves on the plants.

Ricca Fluitans ( Not growing ) Help

I follow Clives guide on mixing my EI dosing mix based on a 40 gallon water volume. As a result I dose 100ml of the liquid mix every other day, and 50ml of the trace element mix on the days in between. You really need to get your head around the quantities of dry powders needed to make up the...

Ricca Fluitans ( Not growing ) Help

Hi Mark, I've read all the posts in this thread. 1. I agree shrimps do not eat the Riccia, they may graze on it looking for traces of algae but they won't be eating the Riccia itself. I keep loads of Riccia with Amano shrimp and cherry shrimp no problem at all. 2. Your CO2 at three bubbles...

    bacopa australis

I came, I saw, I clicked and got a smaller version :( Nice tank though, I think is the first time I have seen one of yours. I like the space you have got with the length available to you. And the "whatever it is" looks really nice too!! Cheers, Steve.

    Sterilizing new plants.

HI, I tried five different chemists in Ellesmere Port to find Potassium Permangamate and none of them had it. But at least two of them said they could get it for the next morning and that was at 4:30 in the afternoon. It was waiting for me at 9am the next morning. £1.75 for a tub of 150 grams...
