    Manzanita Wood

Tom will ship to the UK, but usually you'd need to get a box to make it worth while. I'm not sure how much it costs, but I think the shipping is the major expense. AndyH has just got a box shipped over :) I got wood! | UK Aquatic Plant Society

Where to get CO2 Cannisters and Refills

It might be worth adding these entries to the UKAPS google map I started (see signature), and we've been collectively adding members and now LFS's too. We could add CO2 refills to it maybe? If I get time this weekend I'll look into it :)

Hi Tony. It would be worth having a chat with one of the Admins/Founders (George, Dan, James or Graeme). Theres always the option to become a sponsor ;) Cheers, Steve.

    where can I buy wood

If you feel like traveling a little down the A45, Coventry Aquatics sells redmoor wood. They have some good pieces which range from £3.50 for small stuff up to around the £25 - £30 mark for reasonable sized pieces. Can be hit and miss, but I was in there last weekend and they had some nice...

Where to by this filter in the UK???

That's a different filter all together Aaron. The Tom Aquarium Products states 80gph (approx 360 lph) flow rate. The chinese alternative (probably a Boyu) is only 200lph. I've had one of the chinese ones before, and it did an OK job, but was difficult to prime and was a bit noisey.

tiny rocks, most @ 5cms long

Also, be cautious about smashing them up. It's definately worth doing, but bare in mind that they may be a different colour internally, due to weathering of the outside surface etc. I would test an "ugly" stone first! Also, protect your eyes when smashing rocks up. A sliver of rock in...

    Cheap Aquasoil

I'm going to try and get to this place in September! Not sure I'd get away with a few bags of AS in my luggage though  It seems to be not too far from the little hotel I'm staying at conveniently! Can't wait to visit the shop in person!

    Lampspecs

Had a few problems with my last 2 orders, and lack of stock. Communication could of been better, I got no warning that there was no stock, but as soon as I emailed I had a reply within a few hours. I'm still planning to use them in the future though :)

Where is the best/cheapest place to get brine shrimp eggs?

As title, anyone recommend a good cheap place to get brine shrimp eggs? Looking at the prices on eBay they seem to be worth a few quid :| This auction seems to be reasonable value, but I was wondering if they can be had for cheaper? (I would need salt too).
