MA sell an Aqua Marin water change pump(£29-99) that looks exactly like the type of thing that I think people use in caravans etc. for pumping water. I think the MA one comes with a transformer, but I was wondering if it's possible to buy a cheaper one from amazon...
Hi all just want to check something before i do something i maybe shouldn't  I've got an overtank luminaire with a two prong plug (from Asia somewhere i should think) and want to know if its ok to cut the plug off and pop on a good old British plug?
You won't regret it guys, best thing i've added to my main setup, makes life so much easier, better for the plants too with regards to consistant timing of fert input etc... :D
I've got a half inch hole at the top of mine for refilling, which is also where the tube from the dosing pump goes in. As shown in the diagram on the first page. Works a treat :D
I think all the cheaper pumps don't come with timers, so all I'm doing with mine is using a standard digital timer, bought from Tesco's :D Seems to work fine.
Well i've had a 3 x 39w, and also a 2 x 24w from them and never had a problem, quick delivery, very reliable units. You pay you're money, you take you're chance I guess
