Starting again with a Nano - Day 28

Hi, yes it does, patience is needed as it’s a slow starter but worth the wait. Keep doing big water changes and use the Tropica App, it’s brilliant. It worked for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Starting again with a Nano - Day 28

Hi thanks, so here it is after 8 months, I’ve just let nature take over and watch it evolve. I would love to create another but we don’t have the room. Hygrophila pinnatifida grows like mad so always cutting lots away to make space. If you need any advice for your setup just let me know...

Starting out again with a Nano - Day 70

So here it is fully grown and full of life. No real algae issues just struggling to keep everything growing and smothering the hardscape. Any thoughts on changing things around for the next re-scape next year!

Starting again with a Nano - Day 28

Just thought I’d share some pics this morning with no lights but backlight from the sun. All plants going crazy now with Eleocharis Mini runners visible in substrate. Anamos and cherries doing their thing on the algae. I’ve been following the Tropica schedule and this is proving a winner by...

Starting up again with a Nano

Thanks Dean, so I’ve just added Amano shrimp to clear up bits and start on first signs of algae. Plan is to have a few Clown Killifish once every thing takes off. I’ll take some progress shots as we go along. When are you starting your Nano?

Starting up again with a Nano

So after a 4 year break I just had to get back into the best hobby in the world. So having found a small space I’ve opted for a small 16ltr Oliver Knott Flexi Mini Nano. The glass tank is super quality and crystal clear and the LED light is stunning. Attached are some images from the last 3...

    Ian's Lounge Tank (no name)

Great shape tank. Can't wait to see everything take off. I have the same rock, looks so good. Fully recommend using Easylife ferts. I'm adding 'easy-Ferro 1ml daily for the cuba, and this has made a big difference in growth. Looks great! Stu
