    I'm using JBL Proscape soil with CO2. Its been in a year, my KH is now around 8, but my GH seems to vary between 14 and 20- but may depend on how close it is to my weekly water change. I'm sure both KH and GH has crept up over the year. London tap water.

    My water is indeed hard London water My Jbl proscape did tests (which I'm sure are the same as the non JBL dip tests) tell me my tank water is now kh of 6 and Gh of 14.

    It's difficult to answer accurately, but my old tank was 100l and my gas lasted a month. The new tank is 200l and still going strong after 1 month. However lights are only on about 6 hrs and also using the Jbl taifun rather than glass diffuser, mainly as I keep breaking the glass ones!
