Love your set up :D Those look kinda like sulawesi blue neon gobies (Sicyopterus sp.) to me. Could be wrong; might be a Stiphodon sp. Either way I'm jealous! Sulawesi blues

Update on the ADA no CO2 046L Zebra pleco 60p tank

Thanks for the info, Tom! Have you had any luck photographing the plecs? I know they can be difficult. I had a friend in the US who left his tank with a bare bottom so he could see them.

Update on the ADA no CO2 046L Zebra pleco 60p tank

I've had a look around all the places I thought it might be on, so far no recent frontal shots that I found. There was a shot of it before planting though.

Update on the ADA no CO2 046L Zebra pleco 60p tank

I love it :) The hardscape is amazing, imo. Did you collect it? I've looked at your other posts on this, but can't seem to find an answer to this. How did you plant the flora; just attach them to the wood somehow or use floating materials (the ones for ripariums)?

Re: Comp_Nov09: Untitled The plant health isn't fabulous, as I didn't put a light on it the whole time  For the past 5 days or so it has been in the window, so the plants perked up a little. I didn't give it a trim before the final photos. I can't wait to redo this :)

Ok guys, I filled it today. And...it went great :D It didn't fall flat. There was only a little settling, and the main stone on the left settled just a tad. Comp_Nov09: Riven

I have seen a number of ways to achieve something like this. One method, probably the most popular, is to use white sand. There's a great aquascaper out there who uses cut and polished stones to achieve water underwater. The most recent thing I've seen is just to remove it down to the glass...

Brown? Hmm doesn't look brown to me; might just be the photo. The CAEs did torment it for a little while, but it's done well in that spot. I've had to trim/sell/and give a fair amount of it away. Thanks for the comments :)

The hardscape that everyone loved so much has been changed. Not by me, but by my husband's 2 CAE's  They've rearranged all my efforts. 40g - First Attempt at Aquascaping

Thanks every one! I appreciate the feedback. The algae problem is primarily because this tank used to house quite a few goldfish until they were upgraded. Quite a lot has died off, and I will give it a clean as well. I want to get assassin snails. I think they're pretty, hah 8) The snails...

Help - My Osaka 320 - My Tank Needs you

I think the placement is good. There is one thing I'm not sure about though. The two largest rocks are almost identical in height. It just seems odd when all the others are of varied sizes. Perhaps you could put one deeper into the substrate just to see?

    new scape :)

I really like the way it's turned out. You have a good eye! Just one suggestion from me, is it possible for you to nestle the heater behind your scape? It takes the eye away from the focus a bit.
