    what car are we driving?

All the "car free" people I've ever met are usually on to me to be a taxi service and/or collecting or delivering stuff for them. I recall one occasion when it was pouring with rain and I was asked to give a "car free" person to give them a lift to work. Got to the top of the road and it was...

    what car are we driving?

Erm... Trusty old BMW 3 series and a Renault Clio (Sport, I think). Shopped for a replacement for the BMW earlier this year but didn't like any of the new cars at the time. The Mazda 6 came near (and my wife quite liked the Ford SMax - but I wasn't going there). Decided to stick with the BMW -...

Another vote for XP (over Vista). I have 4gb RAM and 2.2Ghz processor running Vista and 512MB 1.4Ghz machine running XP. The latter is far more responsive (and less susceptible to random oddities and BSOD).

Check out my RSPCA news story and blog!

Is it a one-off journalistic dig at the RSPCA or is PFK planning to encourage the RSPCA to take more of an educated interest? Johnathon Ross and Russell Brand suspended.

I don't have such a problem with so many people commenting that they find this type of behaviour unacceptable even if they didn't hear the original show - I didn't hear it but I do have an opinion and it's a view that I would contribute if I thought the BBC were not taking this seriously. I...

Yes. Absolutely spot on. That's retail in a capitalist market. Not if you're in the business of retail. There's not doubt about it, Game made a solid commercial move. (I'm biased - I worked in retail buying for 20 years (now retail supply chain))... What can I say :)

Smart move as far as I can tell. They achieved two objectives... Bought stock for less than they can sell it on (normal retail practice) and protected their margins on the stock they have. They also did other retailers a good turn too - protected their margins. What's wrong with a retailer...

Tow bar and trailer may be the answer when it comes to extra large tanks.
