my tank looked perfect, was just the cabinet. the holes at the back were a bit rough but nothing major to complain about. Once fully setup they look the buisness so dont worry.
theres a 15% discount code in pfk mag at the moment but nevermind 10% is still good. pfk mag also did a review of the 90 litre version of this tank.
here is a nice video of someones aps tank, i had the 240l also and was quite pleased with it. just dont expect the build quality of expensive brands.
Re: WOOD PORN. Depraved photos of contorted shapes. (Pic hea
the price of wood in this country is pretty ridiculous in my opinion
would love this piece
i ended up getting a small tin of black board paint from wilkos, was only £3 a tin thanks for the tip. ive just done the 3rd coat and it looks good, havent put the lights back on yet though. wished id have done it before setting the tank up, it was really awkward because of how close to the wall...
ok thanks for the advice ill be on the lookout, ill do it this weekend when i usually do a 50-75% water change anyway. just hoping the crypt roots arent massive because when i moved some from my old 60l that was a year old they were freaking huge and brought up most of the substrate.
when i started my tank i was pretty ill and just chucked the plants in randomly, i planted the crypts too close to the glass as the front and now i want to move them to the back (i will take out a couple rocks to make room) will this be ok to do with all my livestock still in the tank?

i have no clue about led lighting or whats needed for plants to grow, whats considered high or low light when its comes to leds either. could anyone give me some insight please?
they do free next day delivery on most stuff. i ordered 5 filters from them last year and theyve been nothing but perfect unlike some other online retailers ive dealt with (seapets)
already got a hydor external heater :) ill probably keep the filter too i have 3 of them at the moment and really like them. had one for over a year and its never let me down. thats one of the reasons i decided to look into their tanks.
bad news though the pfk discount code for 10% off no...
Thanks for all the info george. im actually planning on doing a crypt only scape like yours but maybe with eleocharis parvula as a carpet and a couple java ferns (http://www.practicalfishkeeping.co.uk/c ... p?sid=3196) im hoping to have it low tech and use only liquid co2 and fertiliser so i...
emailed them today to ask about the lighting and they confirmed that the unit has 2 switches connected to 2 bulbs each, so its possible to just run just 2x39w t5s. would that be classified as low light in a 240l tank?
thanks for the feedback guys. for the money i dont think ill find anything better so im more than likely getting one. ill do a journal some time after xmas so other people who may be interested can see what its really like.
i have worries about it being too much light too, im hoping you can simply remove a couple of the bulbs. id prefer to have a low tech low maintenance tank.
it says built in filter but from the pics its just a normal aps external filter but with the spray bar and inlet pre-fitted to the top of...

cant find that review but thankyou for the input, i would not expect the build quality to be on par with more expensive better known brands but for the money i think ill be happy with it.
i had bought a used juwel trigon for my next planted tank but more than likely gonna sell it and get one of...

i currently have 3 aps external filters and very happy with them, im considering one of these for my next tank.
hello ive just purchased a juwel trigon off ebay i noticed the background was blue but assumed it was just a plastic stick on, got it home and realised it had been painted with what looks like emulsion. is there anyway to remove it without damaging the glass?
