Hi guys, Been a bit nervous of showing this as its no where near the standard of others on here but what the hell... So far I have only been dosing easy carbo and profito, hopefully be going on to co2 this week. Lighting is on for 5 hours a day ramped up to 60% over and 1.5 hour period each...

I know you got some now but here's to show you how much you get in a pot.... To get an idea of scale the area in the photo is about 35cm

I would say 2 yes, I bought one pot and was very surprised at how much you get in them. Had about 15 plantlets but I spread them out quite a bit

There are loads of crypt sp available. I'm starting to fall in love with them if I'm honest :-)

I would imagine it took many frustrating hours to get the layout right. lol

Not much happening really.... Ordered a pair of white mountarays today so it looks like I'll be getting a tile lol.... I have next week off so I'll be scaping it :-) can't wait. Will put photos up too when it's done for some critique ;-)

No cories. Been fishkeeping for about 25 years now (started young lol) just new to planted tanks, high tech, low tech, EI etc... I would imagine it will have some sort of tetra or microrasbora and possibly a pair of betta if I decide to cover the tank. I have been looking at the TMC tiles too...

And not sure of sand, I have it in other tanks and it goes bloody everywhere. I'm thinking of a unipac fine grade gravel. Not your standard pea gravel

errrr too much. well the cube itself i got when is first came out at a cost of £150, then the HOB which was only about £10 i think then everything you see in the tank now came to £50. i dont intend to put fish in it, way too small.

i have some that are naturally coming away from the main clump so there going to be planted in the soil. everytime i look at it i feel it would be better to plant the HC separate in the soil, the only thing that is stopping me is that it cost me over a tenner for a little bit of rock lol

yeah, some of the leaves are starting to go yellow however some are coming on quite nicely. like i said previously its a bit of an experiment with it on the rock.

yeah its a bit of hit and miss i didnt think it would do so well but took a chance, time will tell. i'll keep you posted on its progress or lack of. its from tropica so maybe it will be ok lol

No, it came on the rock, from AE, i was thinking that any pieces that come away from the rock i could re plant in the substrate. i did want the HC on its own but they were out of stock at the time of ordering.
