Assuming you got the rocks from your LFS, I wouldn't loose sleep. If you picked them out of your garden / from a river bank it might be worth a little more caution.

As usual I'm trying to think latterally and come up with an alternative mesh for supporting a slope. I've seen a few mentions of Bonsai mesh, but I've only seen it for sale in small pieces. And ideally I'd like some way to have some of my substrate (Adakama) visible on top. Any suggestions?

Are there any companies that make decent sized fake rocks? (I'm after something 12"-18" long.) Everything I've found is either tiny, or looks cheap and tacky, or really expensive. The one exception is Universal Rocks in Australia, and I can't find a UK supplier.
