    aquaspot world?

Think Ray has used them, and Clive. I'm tempted to give them a go too. Think they deal in Euros though.

    Altum angel

£25 each. So nice looking. Had to let the guys at the shop know about the tank though... they were gasping at the surface because of the lack of surface agitation. Looked very healthy otherwise though.

    Altum angel

Good specimens @ Wholesale Tropicals in Bethnal Green, London today. Brown stripes. 4 inch tip to tip.

    Wild type scalare angels

Bodies were about 2.5-3" round. 6-7" from top of dorsal to bottom of anal fin. Definitely Peru. Around £25 each. The smaller ones in quarantine were only a touch bigger than the ones at Aquatic Design Centre. But fuller looking. Still they were Peru scalares. Always see them looking stockier...

Wild scalares @ Wildwoods. Had some that had silver bars instead of black!! Peeked around their quarantine room and saw a tank full of smaller wilds. Looked like Altums though.

    Maidenhead Aquatics

Went to Morden today, really good planted section, best I've seen in London. Bit pricey with hardscape, but I guess thats what you get for being able to see what your buying. Fish area was a bit sparce but they had notices up saying they were low in stock for maintenance. Had Eco-Complete...

    Wild type scalare angels

Yeah they're up for sale, around £25 I think. Really are nice, some have a really prominent hump between the 'beak' of the mouth and bottom of the caudal fin. Seem to be doing well in with the discus.

    Wild type scalare angels

They look just like this but the faint bar between the dark bars aren't really showing as much. Think they would once relaxed in good water though. They seem to be doing well, healthy and no ammonia burns.

    Wild type scalare angels

Yeah would prefer smaller. If you're after larger "altums" head to MA@Wembley for a look. Some very nice looking fish there. BIG!! really tall with that Altum 'beak'. How many you aiming to get for a 4FT tank? If I go for them I was thinking 4-6. Not sure if they would enjoy the tank I'm...

    Wild type scalare angels

Know theres a lot of conjecture about Altums/wild scalare/peru altum and all that, but to be honest, I'm just looking for some nice, well formed, high bodied angels for my 4FT. The ones at ADC looked like they could grow to be real nice. Bit weary of trying to get true wild Altums, read Heiko...

Where to buy in Greater London

Yeah but most of the staff don't bother with the codes.. I got 3 of Java fern 'Narrow' and Bolbitis each for £20. Total bargain. Pets@Home in Ruislip is terrible but they do Tropica pots 3 for £9. Got Anubias Barteri nana really fresh. Just need to know when they get a new delivery

    Wild type scalare angels

Thanks fella. They were real nice, think they were as close to true Altums as I've ever seen in the flesh. Had that real tripod look to the underside of them... maybe Orinoco Angels. Don't know If I'd just Aquatic Design store with them for long though. They're Discus are always poor. Should...

    Wild type scalare angels

Just came back from Aquatic Design London and they had some awesome little angels @ under £20 all sold though. Have to upload the pics I took, but I think they are wild peru scalares. Sure they could get some more before the end of the season.

MA @ Wembley have adults in at the moment. St. Albans had tiny ones about 3 weeks ago, same as Bethnal green. The guys at Wholesale tropicals would surely order some up for you, they always happy to help.
