    IME no, I have 2 tanks with CPD and Shrimps and I always have a heathly population of shrimp and shrimplets :)

    CRS and Cherries are both fine with easycarbo IME as long as you DON'T overdose, I have had mine well over a year now with now problems dosing DIY TPN+ or easycarbo :) JOHNNY

    Few more here :) I actually have a first, a female crystal with eggs, very blurry, but you can still make her eggs out, first time I have seen them with eggs, if only I had noticed while taking the pictures :oops:

    Its a bog standard clearseal, 18x12x12" small 11w light, eco complete substarte, but noting planted in it, various moss and anubais, bog wood and shrimp shelters. filetred with 2 huey hung filters. no co2 no ferts Ph 6.8, kH 0, gh 6 temp 23c no aquascape, no pic.

    Yeah got a ton of it in their tank, hardly any light, no ferts no co2, grows great :lol: Lots of other moss in there too, christmas, java, spikey etc

    I'm really interested in what you do here, I am also setting up a new colony of Cherries and Crystals for breeding, would love some of the Sulawesi Shrimp too, where you getting them? We are doing a 35ltr to start with, then see how we go :D Can't wait for a progress report, liking the look...

    easiest way as Eds has said is cut down your feeding, this is a major factor in snail populations exploding out of control, dwarf chain loaches are fab for getting the others that just wont die:) JOHNNY

    BOTIA SIDTHIMUNKI, stunning fish, stay very small 2.5" so easyily have a decent shoal of these. Trimar have them, but not cheap £6.50 plus shipping :) JOHNNY

    Loaches all do better in a group at least 3 but preferably 5+ Not overfeeding will help keep the snails down, as I said try the potato/sweet potato or courgette first :D JOHNNY

    What type of shrimp are you talking about, surely there is a humane way to catch them? i find small cherry shrimps pretty easy to catch, then give them/sell them away here or your LFS? JOHNNY
