I hope my microrasboras will not be so stupid. Afterall, it was a characin. They're not the brightest stars in the sky. :lol: Well, we can always attach a bit of fine mesh to the drop checker. It'll allow air to go through, but will prevent fish stupidity.

Do youreally want a higher light tank? If you want to follow what you've read, couldn't you technically just have the same setup you had before with the HC and now just grow moss? It would save yourself some money to just do it that way.

1. I agree with water changes. You can fix a lot of problems with water changes.
2. Learn that the plants will not always cooperate with your grand aquascaping plan.
3. Wood and rocks don't always cooperate either. :lol:
4. A little algae is okay. At least I think...

This is a fascinating thread. I don't inject CO2 or use liquid products, so this really doesn't effect me, but it is interesting to read both sides. Thanks.
