I've got a DIY Yeast CO2 reactor with a ceramic fluval diffuser positioned underneath the spray bar, and i dose with Ferepol every now and then. It took a while for the plant to get to that stage, lots of cutting it in half and replanting.

Its probably light. You'll find the plants get bushier the closer they get to the light after a while.
