But what I was loking for was how people planted their plants...
I had a post recently where Clive had suggested my stems were too close together, so I was looking for pointers or advice on how other people do it...
how many stems together?
how far do they put them apart?
what...
I a having trouble getting Blyxa japonica to grow in my tank...can you have too much flow for this plant?
I seems to just melt away to nothing.
CO2 is good lime green on drop checker, flow is very good, all plants sway well in the water.
Regular ferts and trace
Already giving 10ml per day
Bought it from Fluid Sensor
Bottle simply called trace....If I wanted to keep the amount to 10ml in the dose how much Trace do I need in the original 250ml
Do you add dry ferts or do you make up a solution?
How much do you use
40 UK Gallon tank I do the following.
Potassium Nitrate
20g to 500ml for the solution
dosage = 25ml 6 times per week
ppm 32.63
Potassium Phosphate
3g to 500ml for the solution
dosage = 25ml 6 times per week
ppm 4.30
Trace...

Was it found to be a lack of anything on your part? Ferts I mean
I have five plantlets showing the same white leaves....They were all bought from the same outlet at the same time.
I have just finished reading up on your thread of white leaves.....you didn't seem to come to any positive answers on this...how is the one on the wood doing?
I noticed my Pogostemon Helferi has started to dvelope white areas on some of the leaves.
I am ferting everyday and co2 is from extinguisher about 3 to 4bps
Whats wrong?
I bought limnophila aromatica because I was going to add to what I already had the plant lower left is what I had what is the larger plant? Is it limnophila aromatica?
I am going to buy another few pots of Hemianthus callitrichoides because I didn't know how difficult getting this plant started was going to be.
After an hour of planting the first lot into the tank I found more than half of it floating at the top of the tank :oops:
The fish had taken a fancy...
Well I have to say I was very impressed with the friendly staff and the great selection of plants and fish.
A great find... :!:
They had some Gold Rams in stock also...what a bonus :D
Has anyone been to any of the Maidenhead Aquatics outlets....just found out there is one a few miles from my home and wondered if they had any decent stock.
It says they get plants from Tropica in Denmark and from singapore.
