    Nano LED lighting of Ebay

Price is ok and I bought 2 for my nanos. I found it simply wasnt strong enough and tended to be more blue than white. I have since sold both.

    Lighting a Rena 350l Tank

Thanks. It is something that I had anticipated as the plants will be fighting for lighting and therefore grow a different way compared to a high tech tank. I did think about bringing the 2 x 39W T5 with me and installing them with a small amount of silicone into a v shape and because the t5s...

    lighting a rio 180

You can get a new bar or like me just add 2 additional T5's onto the flaps and then use 2 clips to hold the tubes in place. Worked out nder £40 for the whole lot. I just use the 2x39w now and keep the juwel lights for when I am cleaning up the tank and trimming.

Advice on T5 bulbs for a 3 foot tank

Ive just bought a starter unit myself and at £30 for 2x39W T5 unit + £8 for 2 lights its a cheap upgrade. I have an older Juwel 180l tank with the T8's. So I will have 138W in total once I get my co2 installed. If you have the space go for more, means you have to find a balance for the tank.

Cheap HO T5 fluorescent tubes - Update with photos

For your choice of bulbs. Why did you choose coolwhite? Is there a comparison with the ranges from 827, 830,835, 840 and 860's? Im deciding which ones to go for, even though it doesnt matter for plants.

    Inexpensive lighting solution?

I was tempted to try something like this. Will they be waterproof from the humidity? For £10 a pop its worth a shot :)
