The DC's look a little greener today and the plants are pearling slightly ..... maybe im fussing?
A few run in probs is always a learning curve .... 550 litres with a pretty low plant biomass isnt helping matters.
Hi All ,
Need A little Help -
Just set up a new tank 555 litre (8x20x18) and am having a bit of trouble getting the Co2 level up.
Indicators (one at each end) show different result dark green and Dark greeny blue. Im using 2 JBL 1500 filters and have installed 2 x koralia pumps total flow rate...
Hi Paulo, Ive just started using aquamedic reactors and im sure I have them piped up with 16mm hose? im running them off Jbl cristalprofi 1500 filters, so far so good! you know where to find me if you want to see them in operation!
ive known the 500 g jbl bottles to differ in length as some have flatter bottoms than others! Some fit in my cabinet others do not! when it didnt fit I laid it down :? Im guessing this was a bad move? never had any trouble though? I moved over to 2kg which now stands outside the cab.

Steve, It should start to work after a few seconds. It takes a build up of pressure to force the bubbles through the fine ceramic disc. Make sure all your hose is secure and you have no leaks! you may have to open the regulator a little to force the gas through.
No need to be scared Dan, Pressurised is definatley the way to go. Ive run Co2 1 bps 24/7 with no problems, Although I never stock many fish. Enjoy Dan! look forward to seeing the results of your investment :D
