    Is this Rare?

Are you certain it's a Nerite? Some of the pest snails I've seen in the past have similar markings.

    Cherry Shrimps to good homes

I would be very interested in some, never been any good at Geography and have no clue where Upton Park is apart from the tube station ringing a bell  I'm on the Picadilly line so could meet you at that station if there is still some up for grabs.

what clean up crew can I have?

Be careful what Apple snails you go for, I think some aren't too plant friendly. Nerite snails are great algae eaters if you want snails, and I think they'll be fine with your current stock.

Introducing cherry shimp to my main tank

Keep your eyes peeled ;) I've read about people seeing shrimp that they thought were dead months after adding them.

Introducing cherry shimp to my main tank

There's a good video on YouTube somewhere, but can't be bothered to search for it. I'm not sure if this works - heard good and bad things about it. - Cut the top quarter of a plastic pop bottle off and stick it back into the bottle but upside down like a funnel (if that makes sense). - Take...

Introducing cherry shimp to my main tank

I think Angelfish would be okay with large shrimp, don't know about the shark though. Maybe add a few and see how they go?

    Snails? Where from?

Trumpet snails tend to live in the substrate and be nocturnal so it could have been there for months without you noticing.

    how many shrimp for 8gallon?

I would say about four or so...

    Shrimp tank?

Elite Style 35 is a great tank that I would recommend so look into that. Or, the Arcadia tanks are quite good - there's probably quite a few more that would fit the bill too. Look in some LFS - there's always deals to be had and you don't need anything extravogant for a shrimp tank.

Fish eggs - do inverts have a taste for them?

Thanks for sharing that sqiggley! Anyone got any other experiences? I would have guessed the MTS would be the main culprits - anyone had any experiences with them?

Fish eggs - do inverts have a taste for them?

I don't know if you already know, but I got some Cherry Barbs at the weekend. I've done quite a bit of research on them and know that they're quite easy to breed. I'm keen on doing that. The thing is, their tank has some MTS, and I'm thinking of chucking in some Cherry Shrimp. Will these guys...

    snails grouping at the waterline

Mine tend to do the same - I just think they climb up the glass and take a while to turn around and come back again once they get to the waters edge, or something like that.

    Shrimps and Snails

I think Discus are okay with fully grown shrimp, but someone will have to confirm that. Amano shrimp should be alright in any case. On the snail front, Nerites come in a lot of pattern/colour variations and are quite easy to keep - again not sure how they would cope with Discus though.

    Sulawesi Cardinal Shrimp

I'm sure a few dead shrimp was just them going through the 'settling period' or something like that. ;) But great news on the eggs! Keep us posted on the progress.

Crystal Red Shrimp and Sparkling Gouramis

As LD said, I think they will be fine with fully-grown shrimp though. I know they have been kept together on a number of aquascapes.

    Sulawesi Cardinal Shrimp

 It would be so funny if it was Sulawesi...geography never has been my strong point! Thanks for the link.

Where are these Salawesi shrimp/snails from? (Georgraphically.)

    Best Algae Eating Snail?

It depends what the rest of the stocking is, but they should be fine. If you are referring to Cherry Shrimp, be aware that they will soon breed prolifically.

    Shrimp question

You are indeed correct. ;) I'm not sure they would eat the mould on your wood, because it's not exactly algae. However, this is common on newly introduced wood and usually disappears within a few weeks.

    Vampire crabs

Haha, forever trying to offload unwanted junk more like! There's also some quite small HOB filters that Aqua Essential sell, they might suit this quite well. Yeah, I'm sure it won't be a problem and should look great if done as a paladrium - we need more of these type of aquascapes done...

    Vampire crabs

I don't know much about them, but have heard that they can climb out via cables and stuff so be aware of that. In terms of filtration, I've got a 260lph internal filter that I'm not going to use, and it's quite small so if you're interested in that let me know. ;)

    Micro crabs
