Deutch 10,000 litre paradise... not Mr Knott either

Yeah, its all well and good dreaming of beautiful huge tanks, but I kind of get checked over the practicality. I wouldnt fancy having to get into the tank everytime I wanted to do some routine maintenance. I actually like the combination of Denisonis and Rummynose tetras even though they are...

Deutch 10,000 litre paradise... not Mr Knott either

Its in German, but you dont need it in English. People overlook standard bogwood, but it looks pretty impressive all dressed in plants!

    fandango's tank

Nice, nice, nice! I remember this tank mainly because of the Denisoni connection. Is that hair grass or tenellus in the foreground? So i cant blame the Denisoni, it is indeed the rainbows who play silly buggers with my softer leaved plants.

    BIOSPHERE!

I increase the dose of phosphate to combat GSA (Green spot algae) on my Anubias. I really like your diy filter set up, very neat. Are the hose connectors into the filter just siliconed in?

    BIOSPHERE!

I really do appreciate these planted bowl scapes. I have seen a few now and I think they add somthing of thier own that regular aquariums do not. This one is really very nice, well done and keep them coming. :) I would love to set one up, but I think im rather pushing the limits of permissable...

    450L Low Tech Aquarium

Wow Indeed, it looks lush. You dont want to thin out the plants, it is magnificent. Fish look better when they come in and out of plants rather than just in your face, it creates and element of mystery. I love your tank, keep it going!

    South American 720L high tech

Lol, no not really, youve done a great job with that tank so I thought id make a random observation about somthing else. :D

Low tech Huge planted "Fish" tank

I dunno, I just like this tank. It is not 'Nature Aquarium' or the most amzingly scaped in the world, but it is just this guys own style and it is what I would call low tech albeit he does injsect co2. Im not into Angelfish, but these are like floating ghosts... well there is somthing about it...

    5ft Iwagumi Shallow Tank

Oooh silent master just pops out of the woodwork with a beautiful Iwagumi. I really like it, not sure if the shallowness is slightly distrating from the side shots, but over all its looking pretty pukka.

    Four Foot Jungle Tank

I used to have exactly the same model of tank and it was a lovely jungle too. I still have a female Congo tetra from that tank...from 2004. :)

    Low tech lily bowl

Ive never seen this before, its is really lovely. Better still that it is low maintenance. What kind of filter is in there, i cant see any cable?

    UKAPS Members' IAPLC 2010 Showcase

Well, you beat the entire UK by a marathon and then some... Well done! :D Or rather it is that you beat so many Japanese and other far-eastern entries that is more impressive. They are on the whole still the best and to come 96 out of 2000 odd is so very brilliant. As I am writing this I cant...

    Where do you have yours?

They change quite a bit as they grow and lose that characteristic shape and colour pattern. I was going to say much more drab colourwise, but actually either some form or sex or at a certain point in their long lives there are striking red/yellow colour. Even so 3ft is a bit too big for most of...

all my aquascapes of the past 3 years plus a few fish pics

Hi are you still running any of these tanks. I particularly liked the cube in its final picture. I notice alot of people get itchy and change scapes quite often, which is fine and you get a lot of learning out of it. I tend to like to keep mine for longer although 2-3 yrs has been max before I...

My tanks Old and Older and New and Now

Oh its you! Gill from Coventry... i only realised because I saw Guru Nanak calenders in one of your photos. I have been taking a break from the hobby or rather been slack for the last year and a half although had one still running. Seems you have been evolving with the tanks... good stuff. :)
