    I have a tank just for MTS :D Nothing wrong with them, you can get a pretty fancy snail but the MTS is the solid trusted backbone of aquarium snails :wink: Free if you want some? :D

    I have a fair few critters in my shrimp tank, Tadpole snails Ramshorn ect Sand shrimp I have a tank just for trumpet snails aswell All are free if you'd like any :D

    No, they're just solid :( the snails are acting normal, digging in the day, invading the glass on mass at night, so it doesn't seem to be anything other than some sort of bacteria on the shell? Is there a non copper med for snails?

    That would explain why after 2 weeks there are no eggs on the Java fern I put in the tank for them That was going to be a future question, thanks ulster :D So it's looking like it's a bacteria on their shells?

    Hope they are, I only said ulcer because that was the only comparison I could think of. There's roughly 200 ish in their own tank (long story, DAN!! :twisted: ) :lol: anyway, I've never had them before so I really don't know, do baby snails leave the egg jelly and cling to a snail?

    Hi, I don't know a lot about them so this could turn out to be a stupid question, but it has got me thinking what it could be............. :? What are the ulcer like things on their shells, only a few have them, some have 1, others up to 4...they're spread over the shells in various locations.
