    Any salvaging my 60-P?

I've done it a few times, as @John q describes above. It doesn't matter if you can't do neat silicone as it will be hidden by the substrate. You can hide the front edge if necessary with a trim strip of wood or other material.

    Shelf mounted 200L tank

I did a similar thing, slightly smaller, at 170 litres. I used 2x2 battens, and these fixings; Fixings The screws are thinner than yours, as the fixing goes into an 8mm hole, so maybe 6mm actual screw diameter. Three screws across the back and two on each side (into good sound bricks of course)...

    Removing Filter Pipes

Just checking; are you screwing the nut the right way? You wouldn't be the first to get it wrong, as you need to turn clockwise, which is counterintuitive. That tightens the nut onto the filter body and frees the hose.

    Possible Tank Stand Help Please

I think you need to see the back. The actual construction may be butt joints, the mitre joints you can see at the front may just be trim pieces. The interior wall will transfer weight from the top to the bottom of the cupboard; I would put extra feet under that point so the bottom panel cannot sag.

The voltage of the filter needs to match the supply voltage. They won't work, might just trip the circuit breaker, otherwise you would damage the filter and possibly yourself if you tried it.

    Side glass is floating

    UNHEATED AQUARIUM

    a) that's not undertank heating, it's inside the tank. b) as it says, " A substrate heating is not meant to heat your aquarium water, it only serves as “micro circulation” in the bottom area. Therefore the wattage of the undergravel heating cable is significantly lower than that of heaters."

Section off Floaters without affecting flow or aesthetics

Perspex is denser than water, so if you drill the top of the dome it will sink. If you drill near the edges so it still holds air it should float, but would probably tend to tip over easily. Are those domes cheap enough to experiment with? Have you got a link?

The problem is the screws. However good that pad might be, the screws give the vibration a direct route through to the cabinet. If you can suspend it, or rest it on rubber, sand, etc the UV will be able to vibrate without the vibrations getting through to the cabinet.

    Aquarium Heater Mystery

Hammerite, as Tam suggested is good stuff. The original has a textured finish, but they now make a smooth one as well, in gloss or satin and a range of colours, including black. Heater in soil (just a bit)

It's since they have been combined into heaterstats that it's become a problem. Heaters are most efficient and long-lived if used horizontally, thermostats are most accurate and long-lived when used vertically. Putting a heaterstat at about 45° is the best compromise.

I just buy the cheapest. No LCDs or extra circuitry to fail, and they are so cheap you don't worry about the cost of binning it after a year, well before it fails.
