Looking really clean and healthy. I'm not a fan of platies but they do look good against the plants as many have mentioned. I could be tempted to add a trio to my tank at a later date.

Christie_ZXR That orb looks fantastic. Are you by any chance running the LED light? We have one we want to break down soon so may try unheated, unfiltered to save on energy costs.

Looks great and doing well for 6 weeks of low tech although your lighting would be a little high if it is twin t5's @24w each. Even if it is, it's doing well.
Do you have any fts's of the initial planting or shortly after? Would be interested to see the difference and...
Interesting choice of fish. One of the 1st species I kept many years ago. I can't recall seeing another scape with them.
