    Evaporation - annoying

Why don't you turn down the temp of the water in the tank? I'm not sure what you run it at but I try keep my water temp 22 - 25 C. I also set my room temp to never drop below 16C and max out at 22C. Works for me, I lose a bit of water but not enough to worry about topping up between water...

    My acrylic tube bending solution

I suppose the one downside is trying to clean the the larger diameter spraybar. The springs do cause some indents at the bend but it's not something that glares at you in the final product. I think it's easier to use springs than sand but I have not tried sand. Hope things turn out well for...

    Scaping tools experience

which tank dimensions would be best??

If I was you I would go for a 60w x 45d x 60h. My tanks 45cm high and I wish I had an extra 15cm. If you could fit it in I'd even consider a 60cm cube

Does the entire base of the tank need support?

Thanks for all your opinions. When I pick up the tank this week I'll see what it looks like in real life before deciding. using a piece of wood is a good idea. cheers

Does the entire base of the tank need support?

Hi I'm soon to take possession of a 90x45x45cm tank that I will be putting on middle of the welsh dresser (that's what my other half calls it) in the kitchen. No room for tank stands in areas of the house that don't get full sun. My question is this. When I fill the 180l tank will the fact...
