Snail eater for a 60 Litre

TBH I don't think they necessarily breed at a very fast rate and IME they're much slower than MTS. I can still only count about 7 in my little 35l from an original buy of 2 - last year.

    My fish have "bubbles"

Sounds like Gas Bubble Disease (emphysematosis) but I've never experienced it personally tbh. If you get no other help right now, I'd be tempted to stick an air pump on for a bit.

Snail eater for a 60 Litre

Assassin snails (anentome helena) are great for pest snails and MTS if you feel that way about them (and faster than you'd think) though when the snails run out I suspect that they eat the cherry shrimp. I ran out of snails in my little tank a while ago and now also have no cherries! The...

    Ottocinclus

Lovely pics mate! Reminds of of those "yo momma so fat" jokes  (which I'm allowed to use without offence cos I am one of those myself lol) Here's my fatest one - been told it's full of eggs, but they've never spawned to my knowledge.

    Nano fish

It's not a great picture (these fish are pretty fast moving usually!), but have you thought of ember tetras...? The are a bit bigger than b. brigittae coming in at about 2cm but their orange colour does stand out well against greenery. They have tons of character too. As for the cherry...

red line torpedo barbs (puntius denisoni)

Not much bigger than the size you saw them at John. Beautiful fish imo and really appreciate a well planted tank such as yours - not huge fans of really bright light, but with lots of planting, maybe some floaters, they will do just fine. Males are redder/blacker and females have the golden...

    Suitable Pleco

£25 mate but that's not too much more than I paid for my leopard frog but I' thought it was a Sultan plec (L264) when I bought it so I'm a bit lucky that it's not unsuitable for the tank (phew). It's looking seriously thin, but is being treated with wormer and being fed well (and has started...

    Suitable Pleco

Thanks Supercoley :) I bought one of these yesterday - a Golden Vampire plec (leporacanthicus heteradon) A very attractive addition to the tank imo who'll only grow to around 4"!

    Suitable Pleco

Where did you find your parotocinclus Supercoley? I would like a couple of those, but have never seen them in the shops... In response to the original question, my leopard frog peckoltia (L134) is no bother to the plants in my tank, but then again he's happily nocturnal

The Green Machine - new fish in stock!

I have some ember tetras and have to say that they are amazing 'nano' fish. Absolutely tons of character. Well done GM for getting some out of the ordinary stock in!

    Micro fish ahoy

For anybody in Shropshire, Coxwell Aquatics had a lot of 'nano' fish in a couple of weeks ago, a few boraras species (birgittae amd maculata that I can recall), emeber tetras (who are gorgeous!) etc etc. A good place to stop for the slightly unusual fish. Same with the shrimp. Seems a few...

    Micro fish

 Micro fiche and that's what I spend half my day using - it's not just libraries use them.
